DIY Cocktail Infusion Kits

Need an easy and inexpensive gift for the holiday season? We are loving these DIY cocktail infusion kits. We’ve got something for every taste profile and if you don’t drink alcohol these are just as delicious as mocktails! Just add water instead of spirits.

The Process

The process is extremely easy. Dry fresh fruit in a dehydrator or you can use the oven like we did here. Add a combination of fruit and spice to a mason jar. Include a tag with instructions, tie a bow and voila – you have a gift for everyone on your list. All they need to do is add their favorite spirit or water and let it steep for 3 days. You can even include a small bottle of the appropriate liquor.

Santa’s Secret

6 Dehydrated Orange Slices

2 Dehydrated Cherries

1/2 Cinnamon Stick

3 Sugar Cubes

 Infuse your favorite whiskey or bourbon for 3 days. Strain contents. Pour over ice. Add water as needed. Remember although it may be sweet, it is still 100% alcohol. Garnish with an orange slice or Maraschinso cherry.

 ELF OFF THE SHELF

12 Dehydrated Blackberries

1 Dehydrated Lemon Slice

5 Dried Sage Leaves

6 Sugar Cubes

 Infuse your favorite herbal gin for 3 days. Strain contents. Pour over ice. Add club soda as needed. Garnish with a few fresh blackberries.

PRanCER’s PUNCH

4-5 Dehydrated Pear Slices

12 Dehydrated Cranberries

 1 Dried Twig of Rosemary

4 Sugar Cubes

Infuse your favorite vodka for 3 days. Strain contents. Pour over ice. Add Club or Lemon/Lime Soda as Garnish with a few fresh cranberries.
