I just love a smokey mezcal. So, when I saw that this cocktail featured both tequila and mezcal, I immediately jumped on board.

A PERFECTLY BALANCED DRINK

I realize some people might not love a smokey note in their drink as much as I do. However, this well-balanced drink features a little bit of sweetness in the form or lime and maple syrup and some earthy notes in the form of chartreuse. So, even if you are skeptical of mezcal, I recommend giving this a try. This may just be your gateway drink into the mezcal phenomenon.

SLOW DOWN

Like many craft cocktails, this little drink goes down easy but packs a punch. The night we made these to sample and shoot, we may or may not have ended up talking incoherently about life, love and the best flip flops until 3 am.
