Halloween is here, and for all of you fellow procrastinators out there, we are sharing a few of our favorite last-minute treats to make your night extra spooky.

Severed Hot Dog Fingers

Of all these easy ideas – this is probably the easiest. You probably already have all the ingredients at home: hot dogs, buns, and ketchup. The only tricky part is carving your fingernails, but this guide will help you get the perfect look!

Cockroach Cupcakes

You will never look at dates the same again. That’s right, these roaches are made from dates and melted chocolate chips. To make them just follow the instructions below.

Semi-melt some chocolate chips in the microwave. You want some of them to hold their shape.

Press a date into the top of your cupcake (homemade or store-bought).

Add a chip/head to the top of your date.

Take a small brush or toothpick and use the remaining chocolate to paint on legs.

Bloody Band-Aid Wafers

You only need vanilla wafer cookies, white frosting, and strawberry or raspberry jam. The photo is self-explanatory, but in case you need some extra help, here is a link to the original article.

Deviled Brain Egg

If you can make deviled eggs, you can make these deviled brains. All you need is to make your deviled eggs as you usually would. Add your filling to a food processor and slowly add red food coloring. Then, use a piping bag to fill your eggs.

Raw Meat Rice Krispie Treats

This recipe is probably the most difficult of our last-minute ideas, but they are worth it – and you can make them in under an hour.
