CHURRO CUPCAKES WITH CREAM CHEESE ICING

need we say more

This cupcake version of the street food classic will certainly up your cupcake game. Just be sure to make extra. Like donuts you can’t have just one.

What or Who is a Churro?

Not to be confused with the 80’s actress Charo, these little bites of heaven are essentially fried donut sticks rolled in cinnamon and sugar. Since migrating across the border, they have become a staple treat in many a fancy street taco joint.

Baked not fried

The cupcake version is baked not fried. Although maybe moderately better for you, don’t let that make you think these aren’t just as delicious as the original version. Seriously, these aren’t a bland, baked substitute like baked potato chips – yuck.

Plus, you can make them in advance, something we love around here since we are all about throwing parties.
