A Spooky Sip Worth Spinning a Web Over 🕸️

Meet your new Halloween party trick: the Black Widow Marshmallow Spiderweb Cocktail. It’s equal parts eerie and elegant — a rich, creamy mix of RumChata, vodka, and coffee liqueur poured into a glass wrapped in a sticky, shimmering marshmallow web. The secret? A touch of activated charcoal gives it that haunting black hue, making the white web pop dramatically under candlelight.

This cocktail doesn’t just taste like dessert — it looks like it crawled right out of a haunted bar cart. It’s simple, impressive, and guaranteed to get guests talking (and photographing).

Create the Marshmallow Web

Microwave the mini marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for about 15–20 seconds — just until they puff and become gooey. Working quickly, use your fingers to stretch the melted marshmallow into web-like strands. Drape them carefully over the top of a chilled cocktail glass.

Pro tip:

For crisp, cobwebby lines, freeze the glass for a few minutes to “set” the web before pouring your drink.

Pretty Together Tip: Style Your Spooky Sip

  • Serve alongside our Black Hummus Cauldron Dip or Purple Beet Party Spread for a striking Halloween spread.

  • Add a candy spider on top of your marshmallow web for extra creep factor.

  • Dim the lights, add candles, and let the eerie glow do the rest.
