Ingredients
1 Round of Brie (8-12 oz)
1 Sheet of thawed puff pastry (thawed but cold)
1/3 cup caramelized onions
½ cup Marcona almonds
1 Egg
Hot honey!
Crackers, apples or baguette for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Dust counter or pastry board with flour and place thawed puff pastry sheet on top. Place brie in center. Cover top of brie with caramelized onions. Wrap up and around one corner at a time followed by folded corners created by first round of folds. Transfer to parchment lined baking sheet or pie plate. Whisk an egg and brush on top of puff pastry. Pop in the oven for about 30 minutes. When you remove, coat in hot honey and serve immediately for ooey gooey sweet and creamy brie yumminess!
